From the time of being
diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer at the age of 39, I began my
passionate journey of trying to raise the awareness and prevention of
lung cancer.
When I had the idea of a documentary, I spoke to my older two children
and asked for their help. They immediately agreed to help me.
I knew this would be extremely difficult for them, but they never
hesitated.
They opened up their hearts and souls for all to see in the hopes that
they could make a difference in some lives. Their goal was to stop
teenage smokers before they began and to stop the adults from smoking by
seeing the pain that they could be imposing on their own children.
I couldn’t be more proud of Cody and Gabrielle. They did a wonderful
thing for us all to see and learn from.
